You have started blogging – so how much time should you spend to build a profitable and interesting blog. Here is the breakdown:
40% - Research
20% - Marketing and promoting your blog at similar sites/blogs
20% - writing
10% - Improving your blog layout/ad placements
10% - Networking in the real world to promote your blog.
In terms of time, I would say as a beginner I spent 10hrs p/week and now about 20 hrs p/week. I still have my day job – so can’t make this a full time hobby.
